Kai Sugihara

Founder / Chief Executive Officer / Chief Architect / Board Chair

Born in Aomori Prefecture in 2010. Raised by a researcher and engineer who led a defense deep-tech company, he was brought up under the principle of “mastering deep expertise while leading as a generalist.” He taught himself physics, astronomy, and aerospace engineering from a young age. After launching and managing six businesses starting at age 12, he sold them all to stake everything on Bedrock Space. As Founder and CEO, he holds the final decision-making authority over all technical and business matters and leads projects on the ground.

Yusei Fujii

Co-Founder / Chief Technology Officer

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 2007. Raised in Abu Dhabi, UAE, until the age of 4. Graduated at the top of his class from Chiba Prefectural High School with a perfect 5.0 GPA across all subjects. Winner of the Grand Prize at the Japan Mathematics Competition. Ranked first nationally in the finals of the National High School Student Test. Studied geometry for two years at Shizuoka University and published a research paper. Founded ToreMock LLC at age 17; closed the company to devote full attention to this venture. Currently enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo. Oversees technology as Co-Founder and CTO.
